Projects
The guiding force behind this effort is to promote the widespread use of
genetic mutant mice to understand functional genomics. The structure of our
consortium is unselfish in nature, and it is in this vein that we are working
to:
- Establish collaborations with other scientists who specialize in phenotypic
screens that would complement and extend the current screens performed within
the TMGC;
- offer our phenotyping expertise to researchers who would like to
characterize a mutant mouse;
- encourage researchers to use our mutant mice for hypothesis-driven
research; and
- establish a communication network to promote the use of mutant mice in
biomedical research.
