Goals

Focus: identify auditory defects in lines that display abnormal auditory brainstem responses to click and tune stimuli as a primary screen.

Approach

Types of screen(s) being used:

Auditory Brainstem Responses (ABR) in primary screen: click and pure tones at frequencies of 8, 16, and 32 kHz.

Distortion product otoacoustic emissions (DPOAE) in secondary screen: stimuli at frequencies of 8, 16, and 32 kHz.
